In late October HCNS students took part in the first school-wide Harvest Festival. All classes participated in a day full of fun autumn harvest activities. Children and parents rotated through five stations: painting mini pumpkins, making fun masks, putting the garden to bed for the winter, pressing apple cider, and playing games in the field. Miss Meg and Miss Sandy mesmerized the kids with their reading and re-enactment of The Little Woman Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything and the day ended too soon with some delicious snacks and a sing-along. This event has become an HCNS tradition!
